CBME China Launches Charity Program to Support Children with Autism
SHANGHAI, May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In line with CBME China's 15th anniversary, CBME China gives back to the community with a charity program to create awareness, draw attention and raise support for children with autism.
CBME China team is coordinating a donation of products in cooperation with baby, child and maternity manufacturers, brand owners and distributors. All donated products will be sold during CBME China from 22-24 July 2015. Proceeds from the sale will be used to support children with autism.
Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior. According to Chinese Autism Rehabilitation Education Industry Development Report, currently, around 35 million children worldwide have been diagnosed with autism. In China, more than 10 million have been reported to be autistic, of which 2 million are children.

We hope that with this initiative we can create awareness amongst parents on how to detect and deal with this issue.
