Logistics service providers CB and Fashionwheels signed a Joint Venture Agreement on 7 January 2014. CB has acquired 50% of the shares in Fashionwheels and the joint venture agreement implements their letter of intent. This extensive cooperation augments CB's and Fashionwheels' ambition to continue to grow in fashion logistics. By joining forces CB and Fashionwheels have become one of the leading players in fashion logistics in Western Europe.
The joint venture means that the parties are able to offer complete logistics solutions for the wholesale and retail markets in the area of warehousing, incoming and outgoing goods and e-commerce logistics. CB and Fashionwheels will be able to provide their customers with an even better service and the cooperation will allow them to continue to innovate.

New possibilities
CB started expanding its services in 2012 to include the book market and other new sectors. The cooperation with Fashionwheels will help CB realize over a quarter of their sales in the new sectors in 2015. Fashionwheels is an experienced specialist in the fashion industry. CB, on the other hand, has far-reaching mechanization solutions and a wider range of services. The combined strength of both companies opens up enormous possibilities in the international fashion industry.
CB's and Fashionwheels' commercial teams will act jointly with immediate effect. Synergy benefits are also anticipated in the area of transportation in the short term and both companies intend integrating their entire logistics infrastructure shortly as much as possible.
CB and Fashionwheels signed the letter of intent laying down their intention to enter into a far-reaching cooperation on 28 October 2013.
