CHICAGO, October 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
The global payment solutions provider will showcase its groundbreaking products in the industry-leading Paris tradeshow
Cardtek Group, the global leader in software for financial transactions and EMV migration, will exhibit its NFC-based payment solutions, which has become the industry's focal point following the introduction of Apple Pay, along with its other cutting-edge solutions at CARTES Paris, Europe's largest tradeshow for payment systems, at booth #4L 028 .
CARTES, known for bringing together top international players in the payments industry, will gather participants from nearly 70 countries in Paris on November 4-6. An elite participant of the annual show since 2006, Cardtek will highlight one of its group subsidiaries and Cardtek USA's sister company, Phaymobile, which combines its high-level mobile payment systems experience with its know-how approach to lead the game-changer industry development, NFC-based payment solutions. The long-awaited Apple Pay is considered to lead the tradeshow's general tone this year.
"As a company with deep trend foresight, we have launched one of the world's first NFC pilot projects nearly eight years ago, in 2007, and the first prepaid NFC technology system in collaborations with Turkish banks," said Ozgur Gungor, General Manager of Phaymobile and Executive Vice President of Cardtek Group. "Following our breakthrough, we have been waiting for the rest of the industry to keep up with our already existing solutions to adopt Apple Pay, and we are looking forward to sharing our extensive knowledge in the subject matter at CARTES France."
The tradeshow will serve as a space for Cardtek Group to showcase its current and future clientele, along with its fellow companies, how smoothly they can transition to Apple Pay-friendly applications. The company is also planning to develop additional features to integrate Apple Pay with other payment systems, and to store and share data overseas, besides the U.S. market.
Cardtek Group is a finalist for its subsidiary SmartSoft's PayMech Cloud Kernel at the CARTES 2014 SESAMES Award.
