capSpire Acquires FinTark, Expanding European Practice

Acquisition advances capSpire's position in the commodity and energy markets technology consulting space

TULSA, Okla., Aug. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- capSpire, a global technology consulting firm servicing the energy, commodities, and capital markets sectors, has acquired FinTark, a specialist commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) consultancy, with deep expertise across European energy and global metals markets. The move strengthens capSpire's ability to help clients worldwide select, implement, optimize, and support their CTRM technology.

Headquartered in London, FinTark delivers global commodity and energy advisory and technology services to investment banks, utilities, and commodity-intensive corporates.

This is capSpire's second acquisition this year, following Lucido in May 2026. Since receiving a growth investment from Falfurrias Management Partners in July 2024, the firm has grown headcount by more than 30%, from 300 to around 400 consultants across 20 countries. FinTark also represents capSpire's most significant investment in its European business to date, adding meaningfully to the firm's consultant base, client roster, and delivery presence across the region.

With FinTark's clients joining the firm, capSpire has become one of a small number of consultancies with expertise spanning both commodities and capital markets. FinTark's metals trading technology expertise also complements capSpire's established strength in energy and agricultural commodities.
