(TSX: CF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that through its wealth management business in the UK and Crown Dependencies ("CGWM UK"), it has completed its purchase of Cantab Asset Management Ltd. ("Cantab"), a chartered, independent financial planning business headquartered in Cambridge, UK.

The transaction further consolidates CGWM UK's position as a top 10 wealth manager in the UK by assets under management & advice and strengthens its financial planning capacity and reach.

As previously disclosed, the investment professionals and support staff of Cantab will continue in their existing roles and will be fully supported in directly managing their client relationships. The professionals and clients of Cantab will also benefit from access to the extensive range of additional resources and thought leadership provided by CGWM UK and the Company's broader global platform.
