Bullitt Group, the UK-based international mobile phone and consumer electronics company, has hired industry expert Juan Carlos Ortiz as Vice President, Sales for Latin America.

Bullitt Group has seen significant growth since its launch in 2009 and the appointment of Ortiz demonstrates the group's commitment to continued and sustained global expansion. Ortiz, who recently held a senior role at HTC, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of both the industry and region.

As Sales Director for HTC LatAm for over five years, Ortiz had responsibility for launching some of HTC's most successful handsets, delivering record sales across the region. He has also held senior sales roles at both BenQ Mobile and Siemens Mobile.
