LONDON, May 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
HostelBookers, the budget accommodation specialist, has decided to donate GBP10,000 to one of the following charities known worldwide for their outstanding humanitarian and environmental work: British Red Cross, Oxfam or WWF.
HostelBookers would like its Facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/hostelbookers?sk=app_147274665345114) followers to choose the charity. Customers wishing to take part can visit any of the six HostelBookers.com Facebook pages, click the "like" button and choose the charity that they would like HostelBookers to support. The selected charity will be announced on the HostelBookers blog (http://blog.hostelbookers.com/) and via our social media channels no later than 24th June 2011.
Customers have from 26th May until 22nd June 2011 to participate.
David Smith, COO at HostelBookers states: "HostelBookers is extremely grateful to our customers for their support shown over the years. We have decided to make a GBP10,000 donation on their behalf and wanted them to choose which charity we should donate to. British Red Cross, Oxfam or WWF deliver essential global projects and we are proud to offer them our support. The charities that are not awarded the GBP10,000 donation will also receive donations of GBP1,000 each."
