brandmeetsbrand's excellence in corporate sponsorship was recognised at last night's Corporate Engagement Awards, with its work winning two GOLD awards in the Best Collaboration for a single event and Best alignment with brand values through partnership and collaboration category.
This is the third year of the Corporate Engagement Awards, the UK's only dedicated celebration of partnerships, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility.
In a ceremony at the Hotel Russell in central London, hosted by television presenter and Paralympic medallist, Ade Adepitan, independent sponsorship agency brandmeetsbrand was extolled for partnering up Hyde Park Winter Wonderland's ice rink with Ice Age 4 in 2012.
Organised and promoted by PWR Events, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland launched in 2007, and has since attracted over 12 million visitors. It has established itself as the UK's no.1 Christmas destination and has been a huge hit with the celebrities, including: Prince Harry, Kate Moss, One Direction, Amanda Holden, Russell Brand, Claudia Schiffer and Tom Cruise, to name a few. The Corporate Engagement Awards programme was established by Communicate magazine, the UK's leading magazine for corporate communications and stakeholder relations, to celebrate and benchmark excellence in corporate partnerships and sponsorship. The entries were judged by a panel of sponsorship, CSR and partnership experts and communications practitioners. The awards point to the future of corporate engagement and mutually beneficial partnerships.
