STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, England, September 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Award-winning Devon hotel Bovey Castle, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, is hosting an autumn murder mystery dinner on October 10 as guests investigate a 'whodunnit' in a dramatic Downton Abbey-style setting.

The hotel, which has drawn a likeness to the setting of the hit ITV series, gives guests the opportunity to accuse actor suspects without being assigned a character themselves, instead allowing them to watch the drama unfold and the performance to pass by them.
Bovey Castle, under the leadership of new owners Eden Hotel Collection, and recently appointed General Manager Greg Fehler, offers a number of events throughout the year and is a favourite dinner destination for local Devon residents.
A recent addition to the programme is this month's inaugural Sipsmith Cocktail Master Class on September 24 in partnership with London's Sipsmith Independent Spirits, which sources its sloe berries from Dartmoor.
Guests booking the master class, which costs £40 per person and includes a welcome gin and tonic, can take advantage of a special accommodation rate, with Classic rooms from £185 per room on a B&B basis, or a Castle Room from £225 per room B&B.
The evening starts at 5pm with a welcome drink while an expert from Sipsmith Independent Spirits talks about the history of the brand. Then it's over to Bovey Castle's bar manager, Matt Lilly, who will be showing guests how to make a range of classic cocktails.
