Infographic gives insight into male purchasing habits across the world

According to the data, male customers in the Far East (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore) spend more than any other country or region for Valentine's Day at US$274 per order. Spain and France came in second and third respectively, at US$239 and US$189 per order. German men came in last with a spend of US$94 per order, followed closely by the Italians at US$98.

In terms of the types of pieces purchased, earrings were the most popular, representing 31% of the purchases, followed by bracelets and necklaces at 26% and 21% respectively. 86% of all purchases were for non-committal pieces (i.e., not rings).
