SSHTOOLS Limited is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a unique new security solution called SSH Gateway. SSH Gateway is a cross platform SSH server that enables monitoring, proxying and auditing of any number of SSH servers.

Using SSH Gateway administrators can assign servers to end users enabling them to logon to each server through it's web-based terminal or through any standard SSH/SFTP client simply by using a modified username that incorporates the internal server name. Connections are proxied through the gateway providing seamless client access to non-public servers.

The server comes with a number of tasks that enable IPs to be blocked automatically in response to authentication and access events helping mitigate the risk of attacks such as the recent Linux/XOR.DDoS brute force attacks. Other tasks allow remote scripts or files to be transferred using custom business rules, either when a specific system event occurs or on an automated schedule.
