Beta Systems Appoints Dr. Andreas Huth to the Board

The supervisory board at Beta Systems Software AG has appointed Dr. Andreas Huth (49) to the board of Beta Systems Software AG, effective 1^st March 2015. Dr. Andreas Huth, who holds a doctorate in industrial engineering, will be responsible for several areas in the Beta Systems group, including direct and channel sales, marketing, product management and services. He will manage the company in a dual leadership model together with another board member, who will be responsible for the administration, finance, HR and software development areas. These are currently being managed on an interim basis.

Dr. Andreas Huth has over 15 years' management experience in sales, marketing, service, product management and business development in a variety of roles, including CEO, board member and entrepreneur. Prior to these positions, the Berlin-born manager headed up IT operations in several companies, where he implemented complex IT systems that decisively improved each organization's efficiency and security. He has developed his professional career principally at highly specialized, market-leading and midsized high-tech companies, including MBB Liftsystems AG and the German division of the OTIS group of companies. Dr. Huth studied and gained his doctorate at a range of European universities, including the Technical University Berlin, the French universities ESSEC und ENSEA near Paris, and the Spanish Universidad de Pontificia in Salamanca.
