Arguably the best winter sports athlete ever, 41-year-old biathlon star Ole Einar Bjørndalen will take a new role, becoming a global brand ambassador for Forex brokerage company InstaForex.

The legendary Norwegian enjoys 8 Olympic gold medals and a whopping 19 victories at world championships. Bjørndalen won 4 gold medals out of 4 in the Winter Olympics 2002. This result makes him the only absolute Olympic champion in the history of Biathlon.

Ole Einar Bjørndalen was born in Norwegian Drammen, on January 27, 1974. He started his biathlon career when he was 12. He celebrated his first major success in 1993, winning 3 gold medals during the junior World Championships. He won the first Olympic gold medal in Nagano, Japan, 1998. Now Bjørndalen has an outstanding record of 12 medals in Winter Olympics (including two victories at the recent Sochi Olympics), 19 World Championships gold medals, he has won 6 World Cups, won 94 victories at Biathlon World Cup events and one in Cross-Country skiing.
