Beijing Expo Will Be Another Success of the A1-Level International Horticultural Exposition--Introduction and Promotion of 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exposition on the Antalya Expo

ANTALYA, Turkey, May 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On China National Pavilion Day in 2016 Turkey -Antalya International Horticultural Exposition, 27th May, 2016, the introduction and promotion campaign for 2019 Beijing Expo in China national pavilion- China Huayuan Garden attracted much attention. On 27th May local time afternoon, a Chinese ikebana master Li Haibo, created two pieces of work with bamboos and flowers on the background of Suzhou classical gardens, which attracted crowds of people. Of the two pieces of work, one was named Tu Po (means Breakthrough),which was in accordance with the theme of Eco Life and Beautiful Homeland of Beijing Expo; another was named He Xie (means Harmony), which indicated the cooperation and coordinated development of China and Turkey. Performances in a small theater also highlighted the campaign. The famous Chinese folk songs, such as Sand of Silk-Washing Stream (Huan Xisha), Along the Silkroad (Silu Huayu) and the Jasmine Flower, played by the renowned folk music orchestra, Crystal, made people enjoy the classical beauty in Huayuan Garden. And the Gold Lion Acrobatic Troupe also amazed the audience with their perfect performance-Qiao Huadan. During the campaign, officials of Coordination Bureau of Beijing Expo visited the 51 pavilions of the participant countries respectively to initiate recruitment and promotion.

The preparations of the Beijing International Horticultural Exposition are going smoothly and orderly, according to the Director of the Coordination Bureau. Beijing has the confidence to make the 2019 Expo a big success that is unique, splendid and unforgettable.

Both 2019 Beijing Expo and 2016 Antalya Expo are ranked as the A1-level international exposition. The 162-day Beijing Expo, with the theme of "Eco Life and Beautiful Homeland", will be held in Yanqing, Beijing, from 29th April to 7th October. Besides, some of the Olympic venues of 2022 Winter Olympic Games are also located here.
