Be Informed Selected by UWV

Be Informed  is selected by UWV, the Netherlands-based autonomous administrative authority commissioned by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment to implement employee insurance and provide labour market and data services, for its E-Working programme. The contract includes the use of Be Informed's model-driven business process platform, and additional services.

UWV's E-working programme intends to further automate a large number of customer processes. The existing application landscape will be simplified step-by-step by an increasing use of the Be Informed business process platform.

Various software vendors fought heavily over the UWV tender. Among other reasons, Be Informed was selected because its solutions allow business users to maintain policies and business rules themselves. This enables a swift and transparent change management process.
