LONDON, July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dodge & Cox, one of the largest privately owned investment advisers in the world, announced today the addition of two client-facing members, Bart Peterkin and James Rushmere, to its U.K. subsidiary, Dodge & Cox Worldwide Investments Ltd. Dodge & Cox Worldwide Investments operates as an institutional investor representative out of its office in London, United Kingdom, and is the distributor for the Dodge & Cox Worldwide Funds plc, an Ireland-domiciled UCITS*, which have been available for investment by qualified non-U.S. investors since December 2009. The funds are registered for public distribution in Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland, and the U.K.
Mr Peterkin brings to Dodge & Cox 15 years of experience working with institutional investors and consultants throughout the U.K. and Europe at Schroders, AXA Rosenberg, and most recently Barclays Capital. Mr Peterkin received his B.A. degree in Economic and Social History from Leicester University in 1998.
Mr Rushmere joins Dodge & Cox from Henderson Global Investors. He brings 10 years investment experience having worked at New Star Asset Management and Old Mutual International. He has worked with investors across the U.K., South Africa, and the Middle East. Mr Rushmere received his B.A. degree in Business Economics from Oxford Brookes University in 2005.
Mr Peterkin and Mr Rushmere will join the London office which includes Chloe Wilson and is led by Toby Goold, Managing Director of Dodge & Cox Worldwide Investments.
