The UK's first weight loss App that scans barcodes on food products has been launched by Nutracheck.co.uk

The new iPhone calorie counter App is part of its online diet service and makes keeping track of your diet even easier. Simply focus on a product barcode, click to capture, then add it to the food diary which tots up your daily calorie intake.

Nutracheck's App differs from others in the marketplace in that it has a UK food database with over 100,000 foods. Weights and servings are for UK consumers, whereas other Apps use US databases.
