The conference will bring together global leaders to assess progress against the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. Under the theme, 'Taking Action for Nature,' COP17 marks the first formal review of progress towards the Framework's 2030 biodiversity targets, placing renewed emphasis on implementation and measurability.
