Growth Continues After Strong First Year

Daniel Head will now serve as SVP, Global Sales and James Manderson as the new General Manager and Regional Success Lead for EMEA.
In his new role, Head will oversee the global sales organization and continue to grow the customer base as well as work closely with the New York and San Francisco offices to oversee Appboy sales processes across the globe. With over twenty years of sales and sales management experience to his credit at companies like Salesforce and SAP, along with a very successful first year at Appboy under his belt, he is well positioned to lead the sales organization through this next phase of growth. Under his leadership since January 2016, the EMEA office has brought on 22 employees and increased annualized contract volume in the region threefold, year over year.

Manderson has over 10 years of experience leading CRM programs in multiple sectors. Recently he made the jump from the client side by joining Appboy, where he led the EMEA client success team for the past year. Previously he was Head of CRM at Universal Music Group International and spent a number of years working in not-for-profit where he headed CRM for the likes of Shelter, the UK's largest housing and homelessness charity.
