Anite is the First Vendor to Achieve the GTI TD-LTE Device Test Case Validation Target
FLEET, England, September 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Anite, a provider of wireless device testing solutions, has today announced it has become the first device test vendor to achieve the 80 per cent validation target for Priority-1 TD-LTE interoperability test cases for device functionality and performance in LTE Bands 38 and 40. The announcement was first made public by the Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI) at its 4th Workshop earlier this year.
Achieving this landmark target is important as it underlines Anite's leading position in developing mobile operator device acceptance test cases. Anite's progress will contribute to TD-LTE device testing capability to accelerate the commercial roll-out of this technology and services. The acceptance requirements include signalling and performance tests, such as global roaming, mobility, data throughput, and power consumption, all crucial criteria to guarantee the experience of mobile device users for TD-LTE operators in GTI.
"Anite has worked in close collaboration with China Mobile for a number of years now, and has very strong links with the TD-LTE market," said Paul Beaver, Products Director at Anite's Handset Testing business. "Anite's achievement of validating 80 per cent of highest-priority TD-LTE interoperability tests was published by the taskforce led by China Mobile at the Global TD-LTE Initiative Workshop held in Hangzhou, China."
Anite also recently successfully verified the first TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA Inter-Radio Access Technology (RAT) conformance test case. This accomplishment further demonstrates Anite's leading position in TD-LTE conformance testing.
