Anglo American CEO Interviewed on Annual Results
LONDON, February 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Global mining company Anglo American today reflected on what it called an "outstanding year" as it reported full year results for 2010 with operating profits of $9.8bn dollars.
In a video interview with online business broadcaster http://www.cantos.com chief executive Cynthia Carroll says that whilst higher commodity prices have undoubtedly had an impact, the drive to deliver on strategic objectives, improve operational performance and focus on cost had served to amplify the benefits of higher prices.
Carroll also discusses today's announced joint venture between Tarmac UK and Lafarge UK.
