- Trautmann brings 20 years of European Advertising Experience
McCann Worldgroup announced today it has named Andreas Trautmann as CEO of McCann Worldgroup Germany. Trautmann will begin before the end of the year, working with Helmut Sendlmeier, who will move to the position of Chairman of McCann Worldgroup Germany.

Trautmann joins McCann Worldgroup from BBDO Dusseldorf GmbH, where he held the position of CEO for the past 3 years. Prior to BBDO Dusseldorf, Trautmann was the CEO of Grey Advertising Group in Hamburg. Trautmann held a number of other leadership positions across agencies in Europe, including Springer & Jacoby in Hamburg, and Grey Worldwide in Poland and in Dusseldorf.

Trautmann will lead the transformation of McCann Worldgroup Germany, alongside Helmut Sendlmeier as Chairman, and Peter Roos, who begins in July as COO of McCann Worldgroup. Trautmann will work to strengthen McCann's offering in Germany by overseeing several acquisitions in the region and leading new business efforts, to ensure that McCann Worldgroup Germany is the cornerstone of the European operation.
