All-new Mazda6 Named One of 'Ward's 10 Best Interiors' in USA

The all-new Mazda6 with its fuel-saving SKYACTIV technologies and 'KODO - Soul of Motion' styling theme has been named by a prestigious US publication as having one of the 10 best car interiors of 2013.

Before announcing the 'Ward's 10 Best Interiors' list, monthly magazine WardsAuto World reviewed 46 new or significantly changed vehicles, regardless of price, and rated their interiors based on aesthetics/design harmony, materials selection, ergonomics, driver information, safety, touch-points and comfort, fit and finish, plus overall value.

WardsAuto editors selected the third-generation Mazda6 for its excellent infotainment system, flowing lines, attention to detail, affordability and creative touches, such as contrast stitching throughout the interior.

The all-new Mazda6 saloon and tourer are available with three trim levels, each with an interior that is generously specified for its price band. 

Standard equipment for the SE includes: push-button engine start/stop, cruise control, power windows (front and rear), manual air-conditioning, leather steering wheel with remote audio controls, Mazda Multimedia System, 5.8-inch colour touch screen, FM/AM radio & single CD player, auxiliary jack, USB and iPod connectivity, four speakers and integrated Bluetooth®.

SE-L models gain privacy glass for rear windows, auto dimming rear-view mirror, sliding front centre armrest, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning, rear seat air-vents and two extra speakers.

Sport models feature premium Bose^® Centerpoint^® surround-sound system with 11 speakers, leather trim (black or light stone), 6-way power adjustable driver's seat with memory setting, power driver seat lumbar adjust, 4-way power adjustable passenger seat and three-stage front seat heaters.

In the UK, the Mazda6 saloon and tourer models have already won high praise for their good looks, fun driving experience and impressive levels of standard equipment - recently winning CarBuyer website's awards for 'Best Large Family Car' and 'Best Estate Car' respectively.
