The Forrester Wave™ report evaluated the 12 most significant software providers across 33 criteria. ADAM Software tied for the top score in two criteria: Strategic vision and direction, and in Enterprise track record and market traction. The report cites ADAM Software's strong product library services capabilities, particularly in areas like globalization/localization, metadata, and taxonomy.

Discussing the current DAM market, the report notes it is growing because more application development and delivery (AD&D) professionals see DAM as a way to address their top challenges to manage customer-facing rich media content, and are looking for deeper support for interactive content with DAM.
In addition, as older technology becomes outdated and less effective, improved capabilities in workflow, marketing support, analytics and cloud will dictate which providers will lead the pack.
