Actual Music, the North-West based Entertainment company, has announced a range of brand new acts for events in 2014 - 2015.
The new line up includes a range of talented North-West musicians. Laura James, a folk singer based in Liverpool, won the Development prize at the 2012 MBF (Musicians' Benevolent Fund) awards and is hotly-tipped as a singer-songwriter. Crooner Nicholas James Gunn has just been nominated for 'Best Leading Male' at the NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) awards for his portrayal of Bill Snibson in the BMTC production of 'Me and My Girl'. Katrina Heenan was formerly the lead singer in hit club girl-group Eyeopener.
In addition to these rising stars of the music industry, Actual Music also have some hand-picked stalwarts, with band members having played all over the world for artists like Ronan Keating, The Pogues and Stereophonics. Members of these acts have performed all over the world - from arena tours to the Royal Albert Hall.
