Actifio holds first partner event in Barcelona and presents new initiatives; partners awarded for their achievements
Actifio™, the radically simple copy data storage company, announced at its first ever partner event in Barcelona, Spain, the new Actifio Special Forces Initiative which is designed to provide dedicated partners with additional sources of information and support to more efficiently market the Actifio solution. Furthermore, partners implementing the Actifio solution will receive enhanced support services. At the inaugural channel event which took place from July 1 to 2, more than 60 Actifio channel partner representatives gathered from 14 countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, France, Spain, the Middle East, Turkey and Israel. In the course of the event Actifio honored partners for their achievements. HMT Switzerland was awarded "Actifio EMEA Fast Start Partner", Inflection Point UK the "Actifio EMEA Best Project Partner" award and Spectrami JLT was recognised as "Actifio EMEA Best Performance Partner".
In cooperation with its partner network, Actifio aims at developing its business in new and expanding geographies around the world. 85 percent of Actifio's business is already realised through the channel. The company has set up specific programs to support partners to capitalise on the $44 billion copy data market opportunity. Actifio's new Special Forces Initiative is focused on identifying individual sales representatives and solution architecture teams within partner organisations and providing them access to the same training, tools, knowledge management platforms, and funds available to Actifio's internal teams. The new expansion for professional service partners enables partner organiations to become authorised providers of Actifio value added services. The program will be supported through online training available through the Actifio University, and a formal mentorship program with the Actifio Services team.
