According to Frost & Sullivan, Sprint Stands Out among its Peers with Tightly Incorporated, Professional Cloud Solution for SMBs
-- Microsoft Office 365 offered by Sprint features personalized "Carefree Cloud" onboarding, migration and technical support services to meet real SMB needs
MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the biggest barriers to cloud services adoption by small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) is awareness about what these services are, what benefits they deliver and how to learn about what is available. SMBs may believe cloud services are difficult to implement or that they lack the technical support needed to maintain these types of solutions for the long term. But just like larger businesses, SMBs need to continually grow their business, maximize revenues and improve productivity, all while managing a tight budget. In order to compete effectively in this challenging economic climate, SMBs need access to tools that allow them to collaborate across employees, customers and partners in real time, from virtually anywhere.

According to the latest annual survey conducted by Frost & Sullivan of mobile and wireless decision-makers in North America, smaller business respondents cite the cost of doing business, post-sale service and support capability, and professional services capabilities as the top factors they consider when selecting potential mobility partners.
Frost & Sullivan recently recognized Sprint with the 2012 North American Customer Value Enhancement Award in Mobile Communications and Collaboration for its offering of Microsoft Office 365 and the carrier's Carefree Cloud customer care services.
"We firmly believe that Sprint stands out among its peers by offering not only a tightly incorporated, professional collaboration solution in Office 365, but the wireless provider also meets real small business needs by providing its personalized 'Carefree Cloud' onboarding and migration services at no additional charge," said Jeanine Sterling, principal analyst, Frost & Sullivan. "Too often, technology can act as a barrier instead of as an enabler. Sprint doesn't leave small businesses to just cope with day-to-day demands on their own, but instead serves as a true growth partner. These actions place the company in a leadership position, enhancing the value that its fortunate customers receive in this much-needed solution category."
Small to mid-sized businesses enjoy Office 365 offered by Sprint
Businesses enjoy predictable monthly costs with no up-front infrastructure expense, pay-as-you-go plans and savings by packaging all of the necessary tools, as well as a single bill and single point of contact for all Sprint-provided services. Productivity Suites from Sprint build on the features of Office 365 by adding extended technical support through IT Helpdesk from Sprint to keep a business up and running without the expense of a dedicated IT staff or outsourced consultant.
"Sprint offers a unique approach that minimizes risk for small and mid-sized businesses to adopt cloud services, as well as offer them the level of migration and ongoing support they need," said John Dupree, senior vice president of business sales, Sprint. "We're focused on simplifying cloud solutions for businesses with an enhanced experience and continued network investment they can trust not just today, but as their cloud and mobile data demands and business challenges evolve."
Sprint recently announced that new plans are now available with Office 365, enhanced audio conferencing is coming soon, and now select Sprint retail stores are selling these offers.
Sprint simplifies the purchase, onboarding/migration, and ongoing support processes with Carefree Cloud, which includes 24x7 support for Office 365, online resources and a user-friendly portal to manage the services. Carefree Cloud is available with ALL Office 365 plans offered by Sprint at no additional charge (the onboarding and migration services portion of Carefree Cloud is provided at no additional charge when used within the first 90 days of purchase) to all employees within a business so companies have the flexibility to receive the level of migration and ongoing support they need. Sprint is the only provider who offers end user support free of charge.
