A Santa Book Teaches Kids How Dreams Come True on Kickstarter
ROVANIEMI, Finland, December 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
As most people know, Santa Claus is originally from Northern Finland not too far from the North Pole. A nice gift for your family or a family you care about this Christmas may be a pledge to an inspiring Kickstarter campaign to get a new kind of book that teaches children how dreams come true with a Nordic twist.
"There is much more to the story of Santa Claus than excessive shopping and Coca-Cola. The story of Santa and his village in Northern Finland are a tribute to the human ability to make dreams come true," says André Noël Chaker a Canadian-Finnish author and well-known speaker in Finland.
The Kickstarter video for the Santa's Dream book presents a strong and touching story of how one of the world's best known characters can be used to educate children and also their parents on how to find and create their own unique path in life.
Pasi Sahlberg, the well-known Finnish expert on education and the author of Finnish Lessons is excited about this Kickstarter project: "We have to create stories that support the revolution in education we need everywhere in the world today. Supporting and stimulating children's curiosity throughout their school years is fundamental in making their education a success. This kind of Santa story is just what we need for that purpose."
The Santa's Dream Kickstarter campaign is running until the end of the year and wants to collect the first 10 000 dollars to make the book a reality. "My plan was to launch this book project on Kickstarter to get likeminded people engaged and get good publishers to notice. With two weeks to go and close to half of that money collected, I am confident that Santa's Dream may indeed come true."
