Mr. Simpson brings over 10 years of broadcasting, production and corporate communications experience to the company. He takes responsibility for Synaptic Digital's European media relations and production teams.
Simpson is a familiar face to many in the UK, having started his career with the BBC as a presenter on one of the UK's best-known motoring programmes, Top Gear. Other presenting roles followed including motoring, science, factual entertainment and general news programmes on Five, Sky One and the Discovery Channel. Well known programmes included 5th Gear, Police, Camera, Action! and What's the Big Idea?
In addition to his broadcast roles, Simpson has worked with corporate clients including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Samsung, BF Goodrich, Gillette, Audi, Renault, Timberland, Quicksilver and Berghaus to host events, write speeches for key personnel and consult on media strategies. Most recently, he was engaged by Nokia Siemens Networks to write and present 10 films which researched the global impact of the company. The campaign involved travelling all over the world to interview politicians, CEOs, high ranking businessmen, members of the public, designers and engineers in order to get the complete picture.
