2017 EDIFICE Scuderia Toro Rosso Limited Edition Models Released
MELBOURNE, Australia, March 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Scuderia Toro Rosso is pleased to announce that Casio Computer Co., Ltd. released today the 2017 edition of the EDIFICE metal sport watches, which combine dynamic design with advanced technology. The new EDIFICE Scuderia Toro Rosso Limited Edition, EQB-501TRC-1A and the EFR-556TR-1A, are inspired by Casio's partnership with our team and are at the heart of the EDIFICE brand concept of "Speed and Intelligence".
The new models were announced at an official press conference in Melbourne ahead of the 2017 Formula One™ season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
The event also featured a Casio EDIFICE Time Trial between the team drivers Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat at the St Kilda Surf Life Saving Club. Carlos and Daniil tested their paddle boarding skills against the clock -- with the assistance of the limited edition models.
The EQB-501TRC is the second Scuderia Toro Rosso Limited Edition model from EDIFICE, the sports chronograph brand that blends advanced technology with dynamic designs. The watch has been designed with the team's globetrotting schedules in mind.
The EQB-501TRC accents basic black with splashes of blue and red, of our Scuderia Toro Rosso logo colours, on the second hand and one of the dials. The band uses Cordura® fabric for the outer surface and red team colour leather for the inner surface. Both the back cover and band ring feature our team logo.
Additionally, Casio also released the new Smartphone link model, the EQB-501XDB-1A, the racing chronograph. This model features further advances to the popular EDIFICE EQB-500 Series Smartphone Link watch.
