Top Six Stocks - Tuesday NASDAQ Volume Watch: Earthlink, Amyris, NII Holdings, Aeterna Zentaris, Affymetrix, ZaZa Energy

Volume Trading Report: Earthlink (NASDAQ: ELNK), Amyris (NASDAQ: AMRS), NII Holdings (NASDAQ: NIHD), Aeterna Zentaris (NASDAQ: AEZS), Affymetrix (NASDAQ: AFFX), ZaZa Energy (NASDAQ: ZAZA)

Earthlink (NASDAQ: ELNK) managed to hold up well in trading today considering the markets were down by so much.  ELNK was down just 1% on over $3 million traded on Wall Street in Wednesdays trading.

Amyris (NASDAQ: AMRS) had a very good day all considered and managed to be green in a sea of red across the NASDAQ today.  AMRS was higher by 5.8% on $5.5 million traded in the action today on the street.

NII Holdings (NASDAQ: NIHD) had a very big volume day in trading today, logging over $60 million over the course of the trading day.  NIHD was fairly flat in trading but obviously any stock down less than 1% today had a solid days trading.

Aeterna Zentaris (NASDAQ: AEZS) was lower by 4.8% in trading today on $1.25 million in trading volume.

Affymetrix (NASDAQ: AFFX) was another name lower today, but in fairness like a lot of stocks down in sympathy with the markets which were down substantially on the news that President Obama will gain another 4 years in office.  AFFX was lower by 6% on almost $2 million traded.

ZaZa Energy (NASDAQ: ZAZA) rounds up the NASDAQ volume watch today after trading over $1.3 million and being lower by 8.5% on the trading day.
