The new website, which updates and expands on the MTTC's previous internet presence, has a simplified and updated design and much increased functionality. The website, which has been developed, will be managed by Serono Symposia International Foundation (SSIF) as MTTC's scientific secretariat and will provide post-meeting enhancements such as key slides and follow-up materials from the live educational meetings, as well as state-of-the-art introductions to the key topics in molecular targeted therapy of cancer and high-level reports of the most important international cancer meetings.
The new site provides additional support for the live events organised by the MTTC, and also allows for increased use of video, podcasts and other enhancements to distance learning.
"The International Education Council (IEC) of the MTTC sees this exciting development not only as a way of enhancing the support for our existing activities, but also providing a firm and flexible foundation for extending and expanding our activities into the future," explained Professor Heinz Zwierzina, Chairman of the IEC.
"The MTTC website developped by SSIF reinforces the continuous commitment of the Foundation towards the MTTC medical education initiative," said Michèle Piraux as the Secretary to the Board of Directors of SSIF.
