SPIE, the leading independent European technical service provider in the area of energy and communication, today announces the signing of an agreement for the acquisition by SPIE Nederland of IS&P (infrastructure services & projects) from KPN Group.

With over 600 employees based in Zoetermeer, Houten, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Assen, IS&P has a turnover of more than 100 million euros annually. The takeover of IS&P enables SPIE Nederland, in combination with its existing activities and recent takeover of Gebr. Van der Donk, to offer a global service in the area of digital connectivity.

This takeover is subject to the approval of the NMA and to the positive advice of the Works Councils of IS&P and SPIE Nederland.
