Ex-Atomic Kitten Star Wins Award at Industry Event

After recent controversy over ex-Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona becoming the face of a new bingo website (Bingo with Kerry), she surprised the online bingo gambling industry by winning the WhichBingo 2016 Award for 'Best New Online Bingo Site' at an industry event on Thursday night.

The event, hosted at Madame Tussauds on 19th May 2016, was attended by Katona and over 200 other industry giants including representatives from Gala Bingo, Mecca Bingo, Sun Bingo and a whole host of other online bingo brands.

Multi award-winning bingo review website WhichBingo.co.uk announced details of the 2016 WhichBingo Awards earlier in the year, which saw over 14,000 online bingo players vote to determine the winners of 14 award categories, including the coveted 'Best Online Bingo Site'.

This year's awards included a brand new 'Fair Play Award' which was decided by an independent panel of judges from companies including GamCare and the Senet Group, an independent body set up to promote responsible gambling standards and ensure that the marketing of gambling is socially responsible.
