Badboy Jewellery Open New Alternative Jewellery Shop
GLASGOW, Scotland, October 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Badboy Jewellery, a family business owned by mother and son team, Hazel and Michael Freedman, are delighted to announce the opening of their first Badboy Jewellery shop in Ayr, Scotland this week, specialising in biker, gothic and alternative jewellery and accessories.
The business started just a few months ago, with a new website http://www.badboyjewellery.com and also exhibited at various biker rallies. Due to the huge success of the website and the enthusiastic reaction of customers at the shows, to the range of alternative jewellery designs, they have decided to open their first store.
"Our aim is to provide something different from other jewellery shops. We noticed that there is a very large community of people who love alternative jewellery and accessory styles, such as biker, goth, steampunk, wicca, body jewellery etc. and many informed us that the styles they were looking for were not available locally. We wanted to provide a unique range of designs for these customers, that are not available elsewhere in the UK," said Michael.
Cheryl Izzard-Brown, who is well known in Ayr having worked as a jewellery retail manager for many years, was head hunted as shop manager of the new Badboy Jewellery store.
"We opened the new store this week and the reaction already has been fantastic. Customers love our unique and unusual jewellery collections and we have had many positive comments about the design of the shop. People have been excited to find a shop, selling jewellery for alternative niches, which were unavailable locally in the past. The business started online, mostly with biker jewellery, but with the new shop, we have now diversified into other collections such as body jewellery and gothic clothing, which have also been a hit with our customers," said Cheryl.
Badboy Jewellery are also pleased to announce that they have become an official sponsor of hard rock group "The King Lot", who are an up and coming Scottish rock group. The King Lot band members have achieved commercial and cult success separately and recently released their debut single "until my dying day", they have also now started the "bang the drum" Scottish tour of Autumn 2014.
The Badboy Jewellery team look forward to growing the business over the coming years, serving local customers from their shop and biker rallies and also customers from around the world on their website, which they intend to continue expanding over the coming months with many new alternative jewellery and accessory designs.
