The Altran Group launched a new global solution, Intelligent Systems / Altran, in March 2013, to enable its clients to develop and integrate the new generation of electronic systems which are powering trends such as the "Internet of Things" and "Machine Driven Big Data" applications. Welcoming the launch of the ESCO Report, Keith Williams said: "Altran views the UK as a strategic growth market, and so contributing to the future growth of this hugely important industry makes perfect sense for us. Our leading role in preparing the ESCO Report is directly aligned with the recent launch of Intelligent Systems / Altran, our new global solution which is already delivering major benefits to our clients across vertical sectors world-wide."
The London launch also saw the announcement of the Electronic Systems Leadership Forum (ESLF), with Altran as one of the founding members. The ESLF has been created to implement the objectives set out in the ESCO Report. It will expand to include wider representation from across the electronic systems sector and build close ties with top-level leadership groups from other industries.
