SERED, Slovakia, December 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
The largest Slovak industrial and logistical park "Industrial Zone Sereď - South", located close to Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic, will soon welcome the first 800 employees. Lidl Slovakia is due to open its most advanced storage and logistical facility there. The strategic location, transparent ownership, available technical infrastructure and proximity to a motorway are the main assets of the park.
The original industrial park was established in Sereď in 2007, covering a total area of 41.1 hectares. A new industrial area was created by linking the two zones and with a total of 240 hectares it is the largest in Slovakia. The zone benefits from a prime location and occupies a strategic spot inside the triangle of largest investments in Slovakia - Bratislava, Trnava and Nitra. The park is located on the R1 motorway and has a direct new connection with the I/62 road which gives it unique added value.
"The town zoning scheme reserves the area for warehouses, logistics and industrial manufacturing. This makes the path easier for prospective investors who can launch the permit process and implement their investment plans without delay," emphasizes investment director of Rebod SK, a.s., Juraj Juritka. "Individual plots may be merged or divided as the client needs. We offer clients a complete package of services, including support during the building permit process, completion of the design file and support in the negotiations with local authorities. In Slovakia, a park this compact and well-prepared is truly unique."
The industrial park in Sereď ticks all these boxes and has the potential to attract several strategic investors, creating as many as 5700 jobs.
