The Angiogenesis Foundation Launches Geographic Atrophy (GA) Multimedia Educational Toolkit at Euretina 2017
The educational toolkit raises awareness of GA and its therapeutic targets
CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts, Sept. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Angiogenesis Foundation announced it has launched a multimedia educational toolkit designed to raise awareness among ophthalmologists, retina specialists, and optometrists about geographic atrophy (GA), its pathology, progression, mechanisms, emerging targets, and associated clinical trials. The toolkit, which includes 3D medical visualizations of the progression from early disease changes in the retina to GA, will be first available at Euretina 2017.
