BRUT, the iconic men's fragrance, held the military themed fundraising event for the second year running in aid of Help for Heroes. The public were challenged to complete the Military Personal Fitness Assessment, with qualified military fitness instructors from British Military Fitness present to take charge and put everyone through their paces…giving everyone present a feel for what it's really like to train in the military.
Supported by sporting heroes Danny Care and Ugo Monye, and London Firefighting heroes, men and women of all fitness levels turned up throughout the day and took the Military Personal Fitness Assessment challenge, which is two minutes of press ups followed by two minutes of sit ups and a 1.5 mile run.
Rugby star Ugo Monye says, "I am pleased to be supporting this great event, which is raising money for such a worthwhile charity. Everyone is really enjoying the day and it is great to see that BRUT is doing such a good job in raising money for Help for Heroes; the connection between BRUT, for real men, and Help for Heroes, is perfect".
Participants donated a minimum of £10.00 to take part, all of which went to Help for Heroes, and everyone was entered into a draw to win 3 months British Military Fitness membership.
Help for Heroes represents everything BRUT believes in; determination, courage, hope in the face of adversity and luckily a sense of humour.
