LONDON, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Mines and Money is Europe's leading mining investment and capital raising conference and exhibition, bringing together over 3000 investors, financiers, brokers and mining developers for five days of business matchmaking, knowledge sharing and deal-making.
This December, Mines and Money London enters its 12th year. Having established itself as Europe's 'mining week', the event will gather together thousands of attendees from the mining industry-representatives from mining companies, those from the investment side and also the service sector-to discuss the development of the mining industry and for a plethora of deal-making activity.
After successful events in Hong Kong, Beijing and most recently a launch event in Mauritius, Mines and Money returns to London for five days of conference, exhibition and networking functions. As always, there will be 100 mining company spotlight presentations and over 260 mining companies on show in the exhibition. Building on this well-established format, this year there will be more institutional investors, boutique fund managers and private equity players than ever before in order to ensure that mining companies are able to access the capital they require to fund their projects.
Mines and Money London 2014 also promises greater focus on emerging markets and innovation in the mining industry, whether this is country-specific or involves analysis of the changing face of mining finance. Just a few examples of this are coverage of the growing African and Latin American markets in the Around the World Mining Investment day and conference sessions on alternative forms of finance such as streaming and royalty models.
There will be a larger government presence at the event in the form of the Ministers Summit, giving attendees the chance to network with key government policy makers from around the world.
Mines and Money's new conference director, Andrew Thake, had this to say about the event: 'From talking to the industry, whilst market conditions are still tough, investors and mining companies are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Attendees can be assured that Mines and Money London will offer them a winning combination of great content combined with an excellent opportunity for quality mining projects to secure investment capital.'
Mines and Money London 2014 will take place 1-5th December at the Business Design Centre, London.
