Mining cooperation with Polish companies seems to be a very promising and mutually profitable direction, particularly in the deployment of "Mining Machines" expertise and solutions in thin-bed and extra-thin-bed mining.
The "Mining Machines" company's unique design solutions for shearers and tunnelers attracted the attention of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the "Katowice 2013" mining industry, energy and metallurgy international fair.
Yevgeniy Romashchin presented to Mr. Tusk and all the fair's visitors the most promising solutions for the Polish market. Of these - the 20 tons shearer for thin-bed mining and 40 tons tunneler, which has reached record speeds of cutting in Ukraine of 707 meters per month.
In addition to its existing trading businesses in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Vietnam, the Poland opening demonstrates the company's desire to become closer to European clients, and to provide its world-leading products to a wider export market.
This export development is a strategically important direction for "Mining Machines", with Mr Romaschin saying that he expects a 40% export increasing to 2016.
