The economic forum "Global Female Leaders 2016" is inviting female leaders to Berlin from 17th to 19th April to network and exchange ideas and experiences. Being held for the third time, the event is an alternative to the economic forum in Davos, Switzerland. The summit is a premium platform for female business leaders from all over the world.
Over 50 senior level decision makers from business, science and politics will speak at the summit. At the start, the British politician Catherine Margaret Ashton, Baroness Ashton of Upholland, will share her experience from negotiations she has led during her term of office as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and First Vice President of the European Commission from 2009 to 2014. Another contribution about politics will come from Kristina Georgieva, the Vice President of the EU Commission, who will explore the topic of the refugee crisis.
Michala Marcussen, Global Head of Economics at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, will talk about the future of the financial market.
The "War for Talent" will be the focus of a panel discussion where HR and Talent managers from Unilever, Wikipedia and Vattenfall will discuss the challenges of recruiting staff with Kohl-Boas from Google.
