Walnut, California - ViewSonic Corporation®, the No. 1 best
selling independent Visual Technology™ provider in the United States*,
today announced it is unveiling more than 10 state-of-the-art Internet
appliances that will be bundled with AT&T WorldNet Service. These Internet

The new ViewSonic Internet appliance offer, integrated with AT&T WorldNet
Service, is initially targeted to large corporate accounts. The web appliances
are designed and developed by ViewSonic for the purpose of delivering on the
yet unfulfilled promise of the Internet -- to forge a closer business
relationship with customers, as well as a tighter brand and product marketing
bond between corporations and their customers. Initial products will be
available for shipping to corporate customers during the 4th quarter of 2000.

"Today's announcement marks a sea level change for American corporations and
their customers as we enter into the new information economy," said Peter
Weedfald, executive vice president of Corporate Communications and Emerging
Business for ViewSonic. "Our Internet appliances will be as easy to use as a
television set. They are reliable, affordable, operate 24x7 and are basically

corporate America with a compelling choice, not chance for their customers in
terms of accessing the World Wide Web."

He continued, "Businesses will be able to offer consumers a large variety of
customised web appliance solutions from ViewSonic bundled with AT&T WorldNet.
These i-devices will help them best recruit, maintain and enhance their
business relationships with their most important asset, their customers."

PC shipments by 2004. By 2002, IDC anticipates that Internet appliance
shipments will leap to almost 42 million units.

"We're always looking for innovative ways to extend the reach of the Internet
to consumers, and give affinity partners additional tools, such as our
recently announced i495 WorldNet offer," said Ed Chatlos, vice president and
general manager of AT&T WorldNet Service. "These appliances combined with
AT&T's award-winning WorldNet Service, puts the power of the Internet directly
 into customers' hands."
