ViewSonic will demonstrate these Internet appliances at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City, August 1, 2 and 3.
The new ViewSonic Internet appliance offer, integrated with AT&T WorldNet Service, is initially targeted to large corporate accounts. The web appliances are designed and developed by ViewSonic for the purpose of delivering on the yet unfulfilled promise of the Internet -- to forge a closer business relationship with customers, as well as a tighter brand and product marketing bond between corporations and their customers. Initial products will be available for shipping to corporate customers during the 4th quarter of 2000.

According to International Data Corporation, Internet appliances will exceed PC shipments by 2004. By 2002, IDC anticipates that Internet appliance shipments will leap to almost 42 million units.
