U2 PLAY TO BIGGEST PAYING AUDIENCE EVER
U2 last night played a record breaking concert at Italy's Reggio Emillia Aeroporto to a capacity audience of over 150,000 people. The concert marks the biggest paying audience for an individual group anywhere in the world ever.
This record was previously held by the Rolling Stones 127,000 capacity 1995 Voodoo Lounge concert held in Prague's Strahov stadium.

U2's PopMart tour, which has sold in excess of 3 million tickets, continues with a concert in Sarajevo on Tuesday, September 23. Thessaloniki, Greece on September 26 and finishing in Tel Aviv on September 30 before returning to North America for a further 17 dates kicking off in Toronto on October 26.
