Starburst Accelerator to launch with a pitch event on March 8, 2016 at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus
MUNICH, March 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Starburst Accelerator, the leading European aerospace accelerator, today launches its program in Munich, Germany. The program will be based at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus.

Starburst Accelerator launched in Paris in 2012. The company works with key leaders in the aerospace sector including AIRBUS GROUP, LUFTHANSA TECHNIK, THALES GROUP, SAFRAN, LIEBHERR AEROSPACE, PANASONIC AVIONICS, AIR FRANCE KLM and many others to participate in the Starburst program. Capitalizing on its success and on the Aerospace industry's interest in start-up innovation, a second Starburst Accelerator hub was inaugurated in 2015 in Los Angeles.
Starburst Accelerator is hosting its first start-up pitch event on March 8, 2016 in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology to celebrate its launch. This event will include a selection committee where 10 European start-ups will pitch their projects in front of an audience of 100+ people from the aerospace industry, VC firms and Research & Academia. The objective is to gather the European Aerospace - Innovation eco-system and to give companies and start-ups the chance to get to know each other and exchange about possibilities to create and implement innovations that disrupt the market.
