TEL AVIV, Israel, July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

Producing power from sea waves will solve Guinea Conakry's energy problems and shall save Millions of Dollars

SDE Energy Ltd., the world leader in the planning, construction and marketing of power stations which produce electricity from sea waves, has signed an agreement with guinea Conakry government for the development of a 100MW sea wave power plant along the coastline of guinea Conakry. This project will help guinea Conakry become more independent and with stable power supply that can solve all the energy problems these countries have.

SDE's manufacturing costs are the lowest worldwide, at less than 5 cents per Kw/h and 1 million us dollars per 1 MW

SDE was selected by a team of international scientists in PESWIKI website, as number one in the world in Sea Wave Energy Technologies to be the cheapest and most competitive cost efficient renewable energy today in the market.

Due to the high oil prices and the rising costs of electricity, the sea-wave energy production has emerged to become today a proper viable alternative for renewable energy production. S.D.E is continuing to expand throughout the world.

SDE has signed agreements for the construction of power plants around the world through joint ventures and agreements with companies that are backed by government agencies.

Ecological Background:

As a result of global warming an ecologic disaster has been formed; 4 power plans have been shut-down in Switzerland and additional 7 in Germany. All over US there is electricity shortage already because no new coal neither atomic power-plants are built. In addition, in the southern hemisphere a shortage has started due to diminishing precipitation and as a result, hydro-electric power-plants have ceased activity, cause of lack of river currents. WHO states that the number of people who die of pollution annually, is twice as big as the number of people who die in car crashes and work accidents altogether

3000 scientists worldwide have established that global warming is only getting worse, due to the burning of fuels. The damage we see today is the damage that has been caused 20 years ago. In most parts of the world, precipitation has been diminished, especially in Australia, South America, Asia, Africa and the countries of the Middle East. This situation has caused African residents to migrate north towards Europe:

The energy crisis is now more than ever as a result of fuel combustion caused by global warming. Fuels fossils composed mostly of carbon. When they burn, the carbon released into the atmosphere mainly in the form of carbon dioxide. Today, the world produces about 5 billion tons of carbon into the atmosphere each year. As a result, there was a steady increase global atmospheric level of carbon dioxide. This increase along with other gases including methane and ozone is a problem because these gases are gases of the greenhouse effect - added infrared radiation that is released from the Earth heat so heat that would otherwise have been lost in space trapped in the atmosphere, leading to increased temperatures.

By global warming created ecological disaster, four nuclear power plants were shut down in Switzerland and seven other Germany. Throughout the United States already has a shortage of electricity because coal plants are being built and atomic. Also, in the Southern Hemisphere power shortage due to dwindling rainfall and as a result, hydro electro stations ceased operations due to lack of water flow in rivers. The World Health Organization stated that the number of people dead as a result of air pollution is twice bigger than the number of those who perished in road accidents and work accidents combined.

Former Shell Oil CEO John Hofmeister, recently said  to the British magazine 'The Independent', if once the price per barrel was $5, in the near future it will be more than $150. He added that the countries that will not be able to develop alternative sources of energy will go into bankruptcy

About SDE Energy Ltd:

SDE Energy Ltd., headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, is the owner of a unique, patented technology that produces electricity from sea waves.  SDE's technology involves the use of sea wave motion to generate hydraulic pressure, which is then transformed into electricity.  The system takes advantage of the wave's rise and decline, approaching streams and returning streams, thus producing energy.  A full-scale model was operated in Israel and produced 60kW for almost a year.  The model has been verified and approved by experienced engineers.  Currently, the SDE Energy holds Letters of Intent and orders from state leaders and electric companies in an approximate amount of US $1 billion dollars.
