What is the event?

- The first ever UK showing of a collection of childhood photographs of wartime diarist Anne Frank, on display at St Paul's Cathedral to mark Anne's birthday and national Anne Frank Day on 12 June. Shown along with Anne Frank [+ You} the hard hitting contemporary focused exhibition on issues around Anne's life and featuring British teenagers.

- Presentation of the first two Anne Frank Awards 2006 for a young person and an educator who have made a difference. Presented by Mrs Cherie Blair and Mr Buddy Elias.

- Music by the award winning Smith Quartet and reading by the Poet Laureate Andrew Motion.

- Reminiscences by Anne Frank's first cousin and only surviving relative Buddy Elias.
