New York City - The FREE Online Bookmark Community was awarded the Silver "New York Festivals World Medal" -- an award for the world's best
websites -- at a Ceremony at the National Demonstration Laboratory in
 Washington, D. C.

Oneview and the other nominees to the "New York Festivals Interactive
Multimedia Competition" were evaluated by a panel of experts from the
Smithsonian Institution, Library of Congress, The World Bank, America
Online and other prestigious institutions and companies. The "New York
Festivals 1999" received more than four hundred entries from around the
world. "We are happy to be among the winners and feel encouraged to
continue our good work", said Thomas F. Kramer, Oneview's Manager of
International Business Development, at the FALL INTERNET WORLD
Exhibition at New York's Jacob Javits Exhibition Center. "After having
received the German Multimedia Award in April this year, we have taken
another step towards securing our position as the world's leading
 bookmark community."

Founded in 1957, The New York Festivals organizes eight prestigious
international award shows which attract 16,000 entries from 64
countries. The "International Interactive Multimedia Competition" was
launched in 1992 to recognize the emergence of this dynamic force.
