Roger Tatley has served as Senior Editor of Modern Painters since 2004, when it was acquired by LTB Media. He is the author of a number of books on art, photography, film and architecture, and has worked at Artforum, Contemporary magazine and Booth-Clibborn Editions. "Of all the people I've worked with in 19 years at Modern Painters, I've found Roger to have the most complimentary vision of the magazine," commented Karen Wright on the appointment. "I'm delighted that he'll be leading the transition to New York."

Year to date, Modern Painters has registered a 69% increase in advertising pages over the same period last year.

The magazine will retain an advertising sales force in London, and continue to be widely distributed throughout Europe. Commencing with the September issue, it will be published from New York alongside such other LTB titles as Art & Auction, Gallery Guide, Museums Magazine, and the forthcoming Culture & Travel.

In making the announcement in New York today, LTB's CEO and Managing Editor James Truman also announced the appointment of Robin Kamen to President of Artinfo.com, the company's destination website. Ms. Kamen joins LTB from Fairchild Internet, where she oversaw strategy for more than a dozen websites, and relaunched both Brides.com and WWD.com. "Robin has a first-rate record in both web development and editorial," Mr. Truman commented. "We are thrilled that she has agreed to lead Artinfo."

Given significant recent growth in regional business, LTB has also expanded its presence in the key metro markets of Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami by establishing regional sales offices. Ann Maggio and Margaret Malone will head LTB's new Western and Midwest Sales offices. Helene Tricarico-Robinson has been appointed to lead the Southeast office.

LTB Media is the world's pre-eminent publisher in the visual arts. Through its collection of magazines, annuals, books, and digital services, LTB communicates with a global audience of more than a million art collectors, enthusiasts and professionals, and an expanding list of more than 2,000 museums and galleries worldwide. LTB's properties include Art & Auction, Modern Painters, Gallery Guide, Museums Magazine, Culture & Travel (launching Fall 2006), Artinfo.com, Somogy book publishers, and Gordon's and Hislop's sales price indexes.
