USE is a custom systems engineering company with 15 years of experience in embedded system engineering for some of the largest technology vendors in the worldwide embedded system market. USE specialises in embedded printing, networking and support for multiple chip architectures. </P> <P> USE has a long history of custom systems engineering on a wide variety of hardware platforms including MIPs, Hitachi, SPARC, Motorola and Intel. This acquisition by Lineo expands the ability to run Lineo Embedix&amp;#153; Linux, the premier Embedded Linux operating system, on these platforms, providing OEMs with expanded hardware platform options.
